I personally think that The Rifts game was one of the best from old N-Gage games. It’s not necessary to remake the original Rifts game in the next gen games lineup but what Next Gen needed is the games in the RPG genre. And thats where Palladium Books can help. But still if Nokia don’t want yet to make a new RPG game, resurrecting The Rifts would be awesome too, maybe even more than resurrecting PTG.

I completely agree Nokia should help Palladium!
Palladium needs money and Nokia needs a hit N-Gage game, what could be a better fit?
This should be passed to Gregg Sauter or someone in charge of N-Gage!
We, the “old” N-Gage fans simply LOVED that game! (Rifts: Promise of Power)
We really could use a sequel, or even a remake, on next gen!

I would love to see a port of the old Rifts game to the new N-Gage. I would buy it all over again. I don’t care if the graphics/story and all that would be the same.
Same goes for Shadowkey, which is a great game for the first N-Gage. These 2 games are, for me anyway, the highlights of the old N-Gage.
Since the new N-Gage isn’t backwards compatible, I think Nokia should put an effort to get some communication with the developers and make remakes of the old classics, even if they may be quick ports.

I’ve just been told that at least some important N-Gage people at Nokia do actually regularly read All About N-Gage, so hopefully someone has passed on this message about Palladium.
Helping to save the company would be a small but significant step towards rehabilitating the N-Gage brand (and it wouldn’t cost much either for a company the size of Nokia).
