Developers will not commit to a beta version of n-gage. What the developers need is evidence of a application being provided to everyone who own’s a n-series device, not the minority who bought a phone with a joypad. Nokia need to release N-GAGE now to show developers that Nokia means it this time. Also as Sony did, Nokia need to create it’s own games studio and develope innovating games themselves because when Sony release the PSP phone, the developers will look at Sony’s usual fanfare at release and Nokia will just be a phone manufacturer again, which is a shame because like most good ideas, Nokia will lost out, like many have to the likes of Sony, Microsoft etc, all took ideas from other’s and patented them for their own!
