Good Things on the Way!
I thought I’d share some good news. The first Nokia N81s with the N-Gage application embedded on the devices are making their ways to stores this week.
In the weeks and months ahead, devices such as the N95, N95 8 GB, and the N82 will also begin to ship with the N-Gage application pre-installed. This means we expect many more players to begin participating in our community, which has been the goal all along.
With more players joining every day and new multiplayer games like Pro Series Golf and Worms World Party headed our way, there’s never been a better time to get out and play!

I swear to flip I did not know about this when I wrote that AAN editorial about embedding last night!
What a strange coincidence!
Anyway, well done Nokia, this is really really really good news for N-Gage. These are the first steps towards the real launch, hopefully we’ll also soon see some phones with N-Gage built in from their very first release day.
Ikona, can you let us know if N-Gage will be included in the firmware updates for those phones too? So if people update to a new firmware (or take their phone to be repaired) will they find the N-Gage app built in?

And the N93 support is where now? Guess that’s news for another month…..or year?

Can you please tell us what the holdup is for the N93? The N93 owners are the ones who have been waiting the longest (2 years!) for N-Gage.

this is really bad news. Whats going to happen when these users get 10000 points and the ngage app stops working. They will just not bother with it anymore. Not everyone knows how to use their phones properly. And if the ngage is app is built into the firmware how you going to uninstall it and install it again to get the ngage app to work again lol. Hope for those people the ngage app comes installed on the memory card.
