I didn’t realize the giveaway season is here - first Hooked On, then FIFA, now this… I guess it’s a matter of days till they start giving away free plazma TVs so you can play your N-Gage games via your phone’s TV-out.

But it also seems a bit pointless. I mean, the first price is a N-Gage compatible device, but one already need one to participate in the contest.

I think this giveaway season can bring N-Gage gaming experience to the max by giving more accessories like wireless keyboard, Nokia loud speaker & Plasma TV’S to me so I can play N-gage using it. Hahaha.. I dream this for real. I wish for it.. Huhuhu..

the dumb thing about this is that i would like to replace my n73 with the n81, but i cant download any games. you have to own an n81 to win an n81???

I dont see the point. I already have an N81 8GB, and what game give aways ARE we talking here? Currently theres only Asphalt3 and Brain Challenge. The N95 8GB DOES sound tempting, but as I said, I already have a phone that I have on contract! And only 1 sim card! Hope the give away is some other games than just Asphalt3 and Brain Challenge.

On second thought, a brand new N95 8GB IS tempting! Could keep my N81 as a second phone.
But then arises another question: I already own some games and they are locked to the N81 IMEI. How do I get them on the N95 if I win? And how long is this giveaway? My N81 is in repairs for a week more.

Super! But i can’t play yet becouse there isn’t N-Gage app for N93! How long we have to wait for N-Gage support for N73, N93, N93i?

Ikona, if you have any power at all over the N-GAGE department, tell them to hurry up with the N73 and N93 compatibility. I’m getting tired of these moaners who go spreading bad things of N-Gage cos their devices software are outdated.

FIFA 08 and Asphalt 3, everything is no problem.

Hi Shadowspawn,
If I had any power at all over the N-Gage department, compatibility for N73 and N93 would already be here, all the features originally planned would be in place, and every Nokia device on the planet would ship with a video of me crushing Redrum at poker once again.
Sadly I do not have that power.

How does one “upload at least one ranking score”?
Do they mean logging in to the Arena? Why don’t they just say that?
As far as I can see, you need to log into the Arena, and you can’t do that with the trial version of these titles. To ShadowSpawn’s point, I may be changing handsets soon, and I don’t want to buy any titles just yet since they are keyed to your IMEI.
Anyway… you can’t legally have a giveaway like this without a no-purchase route, so if you guys check the official rules, you’ll see this:
“No purchase is necessary. If you’d like to be entered in the drawing, and don’t own a N-Gage compatible device, send a 3×5 card with your N-Gage Player Name, Email Address, and Mailing address to N-Gage Arena Division, c/o Great Gameloft Giveaway, 650 Townsend St., suite 550, San Francisco, CA 94131, USA. The 3×5 card must be received no later than May 16th, 2008 to be eligible.”

Hi all.
No worries guys … as usual, we are working hard to provide all sorts of fun events and activities for every player type to participate in this year, not to mention an amazing lineup of games to go along with them.
As for how to “upload one ranking score”, remember uploading rankings can vary from game to game. Brain Challenge only requires you to login to Arena to automatically upload rankings, while Asphalt 3 you have to login to the Arena then select “Submit Scores”. As long as you submit at least one score via one of the three games, your Player Name will be automatically entered in the drawings.
