Growing Publisher Support for N-Gage
If you’re familiar with our Future Watch site, you probably already know EA Mobile and Gameloft have committed to support the next generation of N-Gage.
We expect EA Mobile and Gameloft to bring a number of top-selling, award winning titles to our platform for launch. They aren’t the only ones, as throughout the year we will continue to make exciting announcements of other leading publishers adding their titles to our games catalogue.
By early 2008, we expect to have some of the biggest franchises and hottest mobile games included in the N-Gage experience.
Sorry about this post going up and down but we had a bit of internal confusion - we’ll make this work so stick with us!

Damn…… this was truly unexpected
It really was a shame the NGage basically flopped after a few months, but it had potential.
All I can ask now is if there would be any potential of rewarding anyone who still uses theirs come the next platform release?….. Yes, serious - I still use my Ngage.

Hasn’t Nokia learned from its last failure? Seriously the N-Gage name is considered a joke in the gaming world and a the thought of “N-Gage” makes people’s faces scruntch and shake their heads. I’m not sure if N-Gage 2 is even remotely a good idea due to the first N-Gage.

I feel so sorry for you guys. You have a negative name-recognition score with the gaming community, your last hardware product flat-out BLEW (no offense meant, really), and now you’re giving it another go? What gives?
DS is king, PSP is a stumbling prince, and N-GAGE 2 is only poised to be a neglected, retarded, developmentally-stilted step child.
I beg you, go back to making phones. Yours were viable. Sort of.

Hi,
NGAGE is the ULTIMATE. In addition to its games (FIFA06, Asphalt,Ghost recon etc) which basically ROCKS, dont forget the MUSIC. Probably not the best clarity in sound but the highest VOLUME. There was one more reason why I bought NGAGE - NO Camera. Down here, Cam-Cellphones are not allowed inside many places.
I hope they would include RADIO in their next version. I would change my NGAGE only to NGAGE 2.0. Thanks, Nokia.

n-gage will is a software api to be included to all symbain phones of nokia. its not a phone like side talkin eh… but i also like a dedicated device for this new platform.Im happy about this n-gage but its taking too long…

Nokia is the most popular mobile phone retailer in the world. They wouldn’t make a mistake with trying to launch N-Gage Next Gen, without considering the flaws and pros of the previous launch. You don’t go and make an international multi million dollar company and make a 2nd mistake. I think next gen is going to be huge if Nokia do enough advertising but so far no one in NZ really know about it (let alone the first N-Gage).

- so i am biased.
I have still not found a decent phone to listen to mp3’s via bluetooth, email, web browse, game play, read books/bibel, and use as a fax send. The problem with previous was undermarketing the Symbian OS and the capabilities of bluetooth. Please build up the multimedia of the phone, the gaming will be the bonus.
(my htc sda is the best I can do, but having two headsets is a pain)
Please come up with a way to reboot from a WSOD, I had to buy two n-gages to keep up.

i have dropped my ngage nearly 2000 times si thanxince i bught it … at the very month it was launched … and still its alive ruling my heart… i m desperately waiting for ngage 2… i dont know how will i handle this wait now can any one give me a forward button so i can push my self to september in a sec….

hi .i had an N Gage classic for like a year but i dropped it and it cant come on sinc e then.Its going as far as showing the Nokia thingy when starting up but thats just how far it goes then turns itself off.what should i do?

Hell Yeah!! I owned one of the original n-gage’s when they first come out and it was awesome… i just recently purchased a cheap n-gage qd for fun and its awesome i had a $800 flip phone with 2mega pixel camera next g network all the stuff but im now giving it away cause when it comes down to it i just wanna be able to play games on my mobile and it need to be built like a handheld to do this comfortably and the n-gage is still more comfortable to hold than the ds and psp and graphics are comparable and in some ways better than the ds i just hope next time they have a wider screen that was their only flaw to me and they could also bring back some of the features that was taken away in the qd but either way im so so getting one! and i have owned a ds and psp by the way and the n-gage is better cause basically you always have your phone on you and you should not have to carry around a console aswell as a phone! CAN’T WAIT, Take my money just hurry up and make get it out! Ps some great big titles would really sell it like a Resident Evil or Silent Hill heck it could just be a re-makes with extra stuff and i would be happy to pay big bucks for this… Good luck this time round Nokia… Cheers~ daos

cool, ngage 2.0 will rock… waiting eagerly for it… ngage QD was gr8 but it shud had been along FM (with recording), 2 or 3 mega pixel camera, conversation recording and more…

yeah!! ngage rox!! nokia pls take my money 4 ngage 2..haha..honestly i think ngage is a very good handheld console in its era compared to gameboy advance..its a shame dat many shitty game makers dun support it n juz support dat shitty gba..ngage down bcoz of game makers not d console itself..juz look at tony hawk at ngage n compare it with tony hawk on gba..u can see wat ngage can do..game makers plz support ngage 2 bcoz its cool when u have a handphone with a good gaming capability..make sure it have at least 3g and camera n supported by game makers like square enix n another rpg game makers..n then ngage 2 will b a hot stuff in gaming world

) secretly develop emulator dat can make ngage 2 b able 2 play GBA games..GBA fans will like it..try 2 imagine u can play megaman battle network on ngage 2..isnt it nice? a lot of gba games out there dat can b easily download..haha..ngage 2 able 2 do it bcoz it has os..nothing can beat dat..nokia plz consider dis opinion..do it secretly..ahahaha

Why you not launch it ASAP, we need more kind of games such as the other real handled console has. We need famous games like kingdom h, final fantasy, tomb raider, tekken, and other popular games. May be ngage nextgen can be famous handled console if you do like the “real” handled console. Be more creative!!! We need cool games.
