Happy Monday

Happy Monday everybody, here’s our first post of the week with a couple of new N-Gage related stories.
First up, All About N-Gage has a new interview up with Simon Etchells, head of Platform Marketing for the N-Gage program. In it he shares some of his thoughts on the next generation gamin platform.
Next is another piece from All About N-Gage, this one called Next Gen N-Gage on a Budget. It talks about the prices for the next generation of N-Gage compatible devices compared to the original game decks from 2003, and discusses a few alternatives to buying a brand new smartphone.
Finally, for those of you who enjoy product shots, some new Nokia N95 8 GB high resolution pictures available on the main Nokia site.

There’s been nothing like that announced MBK. The new N-Gage is a software platform that works across a wide range of Nokia devices.

Ok, N93 looks very good for playing and this time for talking
This is the model I like to switch to after I leave my n-gage(orig.). It just lacks the N95’s 3D engine but with the moving screen it becomes more like joypad-and that’s why me and perhaps others gamers will buy it

Actually the N93 does have a 3D graphics acceleration chip, it was the first Nokia model to have one. It can run the 3D Chip enhanced System Rush demo just like the N95:

(at the start it’s on the N95 but go to about a minute from the end to see the N93 running the game)
I totally agree about the controls, the N93 has the best button layout for gaming IMHO, although it’s pretty bulky as a phone though.

Really? The N93 is the best option for games and phone? Cos I read sum stuff bout it at AAS and they said it has some major flaws in it, plus its not available anywhere anymore.

I’ve just seen that N93 has a 3D accel. and it’s cool!
With optical zoom of the camera, 3G video talking, easy instant messaging I think this is THE phone. I hope it doesn’t have any flaws because it’s a little expensive and I think to use it at least a couple of years like my n-gage until now.
For availability it’s sold in good quantities here in Bulgaria for about 600-700 USD.
