Holding My Breath
Picking up where the Guardian games blog left off yesterday, Brian Crescente over on Kotaku has a few good things to say about the new N-Gage application as well.
He says: “The service hits this autumn and I’m actually holding my breath. Weird.”
He also ‘gets it’ in terms of the new N-Gage being a software platform that works across multiple N-Gage ready devices:
In essence, Nokia wants to create a unified platform and back-end for Series 60 mobile phones that all developers can work on. Of course this is a business decision and very self-serving, but it’s also a great idea and much needed.”
There’s quite a few lively remarks in the comments section too, if a bit one-sided. Where did you go guys go, N-Gage fans?

看不大懂，说得是NOKIA在全力的研究N-gage这款软件，这款软件好像也是NOKIA在塞班S60上研究的终端手机软件了，可能我理解的不正确。谁让高手来翻译一下。This is chinese.We are all concerned about n-gage.I think how the software platform give we pleasantly surprised.我说我们很关心n-gage，想知道这款软件会给我带来什么惊喜。不知道英文写的对不对。

大麦最近经常来啊!看了,反正和N-GAGE 2没关系,还是说的那个用于第三版手机上的N-GAGE平台,貌似这个平台最近取得重大进展,不期待

hey look I have an opinion here and I’m not sure if anyone is really gonna like it but … I’m really expecting more from futurewatch … I mean all I see here on futurewatch is opinions from other sites and a couple of vague podcasts (which they are vague). I think I speak for all of us when if this is the home of NextGen then we should have the inside scoop to all the development and nitty gritty stuff. But like I go onto youtube and see a nextgen clip of games that haven’t been publicly announced and they look excellent. I’m more interested in what’s going on with Nokia’s development … not what other people have to speculate about it.
I’m saying this because I love NextGen and N-Gage I’m a true fan that believes in this. I don’t care about what other people have to say just what Nokia has to give.

I wanna play ONE in my N93!
I had a old school N-Gage mobile, and when I bought a N93 I missed the Gage games. Now, the N-Gage becames a game engine to N-Series and I cant wait to play my favorite games! C’Mon Gage games!!!

你也常来啊，如果NOKIA出了这个平台，那么横版的手机应该也会接着出来，现在他们担心的是操作系统的问题，并不担心n-gage的下一代手机量产不了，他们担心机子出来没好的操作系统那就不会有新的突破，你说呢？所以，我相信他们会给我们带来惊喜的

I think nokia want n-gage platform on the market.Then they can issued n-gage2.Because they want a new sales achievementl,they want top their oid sales achievement.This is my opinin.HEHE. My engish is very bad.
