Konami Bringing Metal Gear Solid to N-Gage
As you may have heard, we’ve announced that Konami will be publishing mobile games for the N-Gage platform, with Metal Gear Solid Mobile first out the gate.
Here’s the word from the official press release:
“Nokia and KONAMI, a leading global developer, publisher and manufacturer of electronic entertainment properties, today announced that KONAMI mobile titles will be added to the N-Gage mobile games platform. The mobile version of the award-winning METAL GEAR SOLID® will be the first title in the games line-up. METAL GEAR SOLID® MOBILE has received top honours at the 2007 International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA), taking both the Grand Prix and Operator’s Choice Awards.”
It goes on to say that the new version will feature original content, 3D art and camera works, an in-game camouflage system, and additional controls specific for mobile devices.

Ikona do you have a rough idea what quarter PRO SERIES;GolF will be out
and when will showroom be updated because theres been a lot more comings soons announced over last few months like star wars and reset gen which probably have enough info to get there own feature now on there

this is a must buy!!, hope it comes soon, the game is already developed for brew, so i dont think it takes too much time to port it to n-gage symbian

Hope they change the title though, nobody is going to take it anymore seriously than a java game if the name has “Mobile” in it. It will confuse people too. Make the name like Metal Gear Acid or something.

“Metal Gear Solid: N-Gage?” Well its better than naming it “Mobile.”

Great news! Thats is what I like about Nokia and N-Gage! I am totaly shocked. I was thrilled after hearing about Star Wars on N-Gage and seing the first screenshots of the Reset Generation but now I just cannot express my happiness !!! I love you Nokia for extending the edges of mobile gaming and making it available for public! Long live Nokia!
