Something For Everyone
Good morning, evening, or afternoon N-Gage fans. Today’s post has a little something for everyone.
Good Things to Those that Wait?
The All About N-Gage team looks at each other electronically and decides it’s too early to evaluate the full potential of the N-Gage platform. Here’s a quote:
“Looking back at the N-Gage Classic, it took around 6-7 months for the first big title to come out that showed the promise of the system. That was the 3-D Horror-inspired shooter, Ashen, which was previewed to the world some months previously. That started a run that increased in quality, including System Rush and Pathway to Glory, but also titles like Catan, Rifts and High Seize.”
N-Gage Unveiled in Malaysia
To help you get an idea of just how global an operation can be, here’s a blog post talking about the unveiling of the new N-Gage in Malaysia a month ago. That’s followed with a nice write-up of the product offering, including the N-Gage application.
Forgotten N-Gage Games
Tzer2 takes us down memory lane to look at canceled, rumored, proposed, and otherwise abandoned N-Gage games, for both first and next generation N-Gage, that never saw the light of day. Even a few surprises to me on that list, or things I had forgotten about completely.
Symbian Toys How-To Guide

All the promises abt next gen have failed, we need good multiplayer online games, not that crappy java ported games, if mile high pinball can be ported to next gen then why cant ptg & hs cant be? i still rate ptg one of my all time best game i ever played in the history of videogames, ptg was a mobile game but it can still compete with ps3 & xbox 360 games, i mean this is how good ptg was.

Hang in there Cricket. Some great multiplayer games are in the works and coming out in the next few months.
Did you forget about Pro Series Golf, Worms World Party, and Reset Generation?
I don’t know if PTG is coming back, I hope so too!
but I do know we are going to have some good Reset Generation coverage for you in the next couple days, including an interview with some of the guys at RedLynx, who created Pathway to Glory for all of you and are now doing the final polish on Reset Generation.
Hang on. We haven’t even begun.

Thanks ikona that was nice to read. I played a few of those unreleased ngage 1 games they were not that bad. Better than some of the games we got now. I know it takes time for good games to come out and i will wait.

It will be good if PTG does come back as a classic title, maybe Nokia should think about some “Classic Packs” making them free is wishfull thinking but say PTG and PTG:II for like £10 in 1 “Classic Pack” or “Best Sellers” that would be a very smart move from Nokia.
Im looking forward to the new games, but so far I havent been properly wow’ed yet but Im patient so Im deffiently sticking around
