Spore Origins for N-Gage
At last week’s Games Convention Asia, Electronic Arts made an announcement that should be of interest to all of you out there: Spore Origins is coming to N-Gage. From their release:
“Action on the small screen isn’t letting up either. EA Mobile™, also announced today that Spore™ Origins will be coming soon on Nokia’s N-Gage platform. The game takes full advantage of the NGage functionality whilst allowing players to manouvere their way through a world made of primordial ooze. Spore™ Origins will sit alongside other EA titles already launched on N-Gage, such as Tetris®, The Sims 2™ Pets and EA SPORTS™ FIFA 08.”
There is a copy of the EA release here on nineoverten.com, and I have verified internally that it is accurate.
In addition, be sure to read this write-up from Wilfrid Wong, who was able to play Spore (as well as ONE) at the Games Convention Asia, and produced a hands-on report.

Yes! Spore is a very fun game played in N-Gage. I have played and reviewed the full game PC version and out of all 5 phases, the first phase “Cell” is indeed the most fun and the cutest phase to play with. And that is what we will get to play in N-Gage. Loving it. I think Spore Origins will have a strong appeal to both genders. Cheers!
PS. Ah, so that is the official title .. ha ha ha.

I’ve played the java version of Spore, even though it was quit fun, it was very restricted in what you could do.
I just hope that it won’t be the same when it comes to the N-gage version.
That have been the case of all the Gameloft’s games up until now. If you’ve played the java version then you already know how the N-gage version will be. They’ve added nothing new except for the support for N-gage Arena / N-gage point system.
Let’s hope that EA will do much much better than Gameloft.

yeah lets hope its better than all their other games.

Whys this blog being over run with ads. Its really annoying

Guys,
just as a side information:
EA is the developer of this game, don’t expect anything good from them. Just look at their games (FIFA 2008 and Sims 2) for N-Gage 2.0 and then you’ll get to know the quality of this upcoming game called “SPORE”.
Another useless N-Gage game.

hi, i think that if ngage dont have more games soon it dies. So every game is welcomme for me. Not every xbox game is must have so ngage dont need to have only must haves games. But still they have to release more games

im guessing spore on N-Gage will most likely be a re-release of the DS Version (except water-ed down a lil bit different and slightly different title/ name).

FIFA was pretty good for the price tag, it had a few rough edges but not bad for a first game on a new platform.
Sims 2 Pets was okay as far as the graphics and interface, but the total lack of content didn’t help.
And Tetris seems to sell bucketloads whatever we think of it…

Those aren’t ads, ders, those are ‘trackbacks’ that show articles who are linking back to this article.
I don’t *have* to approve, them but it’s kind of fun.
