Top 5 Games
As part of our continuing efforts to bring your more content and information about N-Gage on the main Website, we are now publishing a list of the top five best-selling games for the previous week in the Arena section.
I have just put up the first list, you may find it here.

Hi Ikona,
wow, sims pets is in the Top 5!
It seems like mutch people bought it because it was the firts game since a month!
But do you have some really intressting news to bring in the blog like a new game?
If you dont release a new game this week it wouldnt be a big problem for me. Tomorrow my final exame starts so i have mutch to do in the next week!
One other thing: The Game Page for the Cafe Sudoku dont work in german language so maybee someone will fix it!

hi sonic mate. Dont think you missing much with not being able to read about those 2 new games lol. It nice to see what games are selling best, would be nice to see how many get sold so we can see how well ngage 2 is doing.

I feel sorry for those who wasted money on Tetris.
There’s a free S60 Tetris clone available called S-Tris 2.

Why is the Top 5 Games in the showroom different to the Top 5 Games in the newsroom? Are they calculated differently?
June 25th, 2008 at 4:37 pm
Hi krisse,
The Top 5 Games in the Newsroom represent last week’s actual best selling games across the globe. The Top 5 in the Showroom is more like “here’s what’s hot right now”, I don’t know the exact criteria for it.
Yes it could be confusing, maybe next week I will call them “Five Best Sellers” or something.

Top-5 Games in the Showrooms seem to vary country by country so they might be country specific.

In the “Five Best Sellers” page you explain what PEGI means, but not what do numbers mean; of course the first thing that comes to mind is age but if you complete with + (3+, 7+) that idea would be reinforced and that’s the way PEGI rate.
It also would be better if you include a brief explanation of the ratings or a link to that info in the PEGI; and include the icons about content too.

Even better might be to get rid of the showroom list altogether, and have the actual sales chart right there next to the games, just like they do on Amazon or other online shops.
If you need to promote a particular game you can always highlight it as the “game of the week”.

Hey Ikona,
When can we expect next games? Next week, maybe?
June 26th, 2008 at 9:31 am
I’m hoping so, Skroq. Remember there are holidays in North America next week.

Ikona, I agree with Krisse. Why hide the top sellers list in the Forum where the casual browser will never go? Also, why have separate “News”, “Articles”, “Blog” sections? A more integrated page for all of those would be much better. In particular since the “News” and “Articles” sections seem to be updated much more slowly than your Blog.
