Yes, it’s Reset Generation
This month’s issue of EDGE Magazine is now going out to subscribers, who are getting their first look at Reset Generation, the game which you have come to know and love under its code name Project White Rock.
Details from the magazine article have surfaced on Pocket Gamer, Develop, Tech Digest, and All About N-Gage. And yes, there will be a press event tonight in San Francisco, where even more of the game will be revealed to the world. So I won’t say much more about it just yet.
I’d like to add on a personal note, I am really excited about this one, because I did get to play a small role in its development over these last couple years, being responsible for the story and dialogue.
It was a great privilege to work with Scott Foe, Scott Howard and all the guys over at RedLynx. I think you guys are going to have a lot of fun with this game. It’s exceptional and just a lot of fun to play. It is a blast.

“Reset Generation (REE.set jen.uh.ray.shun) n. Young people who, when a situation becomes difficult or burdensome, quit and start over again in a different situation.”
Great name considering N-Gage’s history, it is young and starting over again now as an App; long live N-Gage!
Congratulations ikona, for your participation in the story and dialogue. What should I say?… break a leg? (as in theatre, of course), be n-gaged with the Force? XD
I’ve got a good feeling about this, I hope we, n-gagers, can “reboot” soon!

Sorry, it was “May the Force be n-gaged with you” XD

Reset Generation huh? I wasn’t expecting that.
Well RG is damn lot easier and shorter to type than PWR. XD
Is it called Reset Gen because its based on classic video games where “We will hit reset if we die?”
Cant wait for the full revealing of it!
Wait, did you say San Fransisco? Tonight? Aww man, I’ll be up till 6am just waiting for the news! (Srsly San Fransisco is on another continent for me)

OMG I think the game name is a spoof of another Scott Foe production!
How many of you remember a certain Unit named Reset Jen doing Battle Reports on a certain games website?

The hype, the hype! This game better be as good as you all claim it to be or mobs wielding burning torches will be formed - marching towards Nokia HQ ^^

hope its free.lol

OMG I cant believe what tech digest is saying!
“Although, with it being for N-Gage, there’s every chance it’ll sink without trace…”
WTF??? Do they still think N-Gage = Taco Phone?
Or do they just hate N-Gage for no reason?
Srsly, we will have about 10 devices compatible by the release of Reset Gen. Well I hope we will. They still got a month before summer to release N-Gage on more devices. Atleast they should add devices to the “Get N-Gage” pages and label them coming soon, so more people can see they can use N-Gage. Like the N96 etc.
Anywyas, Nokia now needs to get more devices, and get N73 and N93 N-Gage ready by summer and a dozen of games out too by summer. Cos summer has the perfect weather for gaming outdoors! ^_^
Plus in summer people tend to be on the go too and have lots of free time. IDK why but summer just seems like the perfect time for Nokia to make big moves with the N-Gage!
It just somehow seems logical to push the market on mobile stuff in the sunniest time of the year.

May 5th, 2008 at 9:03 am
Hey guys, sorry no dates on the n73 and n93.
Shadowspawn, you’re right about Reset Jen from Pocket Kingdom.
As far as more on Reset, I will be posting some event pix and links to previews in a bit, but the purpose of the press event is to let the press come out and see the game so they can tell you what they think about it. We’ll have more on our site and on the game’s official site, after that launches too.
